Sustainability Awards
The Decorex Sustainability Awards celebrate exhibitors demonstrating leadership in sustainability across the interiors industry. By recognising those driving positive environmental and social impact, embracing circular design principles and preserving valuable skills and craftsmanship, the awards aim to inspire progress and encourage a more sustainable future for interiors.
For 2026, we are expanding the awards to five categories, recognising the many ways exhibitors are advancing sustainability across their businesses:
1. Planet Conscious: Celebrating exhibitors committed to reducing their environmental footprint.
2. Social Impact: Celebrating exhibitors creating positive impact for people and communities.
3. Embracing Circularity: Celebrating exhibitors advancing circular design and production.
4. Heritage & Craftsmanship: Celebrating exhibitors preserving craftsmanship and supporting skilled makers.
5. Sustainability Champion: Celebrating the individuals driving sustainability forward within their business, turning ambition into action and helping create lasting positive change.
The awards are judged by Mirry Christie, Founder of B·ABLE, and Jules Haines, Founder of Haines Collection. Together, they co-founded The Green Room, a community of more than 80 interiors brands working collaboratively to drive positive change across the industry through knowledge sharing, events and collective action on sustainability.

Circularity Award: Granorte
Granorte was awarded the Circularity award for its innovative use of cork waste from Portugal’s wine industry. By turning by-products into flooring, coverings and design objects, the company demonstrates how materials can be reused in creative, design-driven ways that add long-term value.
Cork is harvested without cutting down trees and supports carbon capture, biodiversity and healthy ecosystems. Granorte combines this renewable material with clean energy and efficient processes to minimise waste, waste usage and emissions.
