The Bar

Each year, we handpick a talented designer to create the central bar at our event, which takes on a new form with stunning furniture and a unique theme, and this year is no different.

The Decorex Bar of 2023 was designed by Elemental Studios, Laurence Katz. It was an enchanting oasis meticulously crafted to showcase a captivating collection of art pieces from a diverse array of talented artists.

Those within the industry gathered in the bar to discuss all things design. Good conversation and beverages were never in short supply.

About Laurence Katz

Laurence trained as an interior designer at London’s prestigious KLC School of Design, before founding Elemental Studio in 2016.

Before that she worked in the corporate world, so fully understands the need for tight briefs, clear deadlines, controlled budgets and added value. She is involved in all projects as Creative Director.

We firmly believe in the transformative power of color and its ability to evoke positivity. Therefore, color has played a pivotal role in creating an exciting and enticing atmosphere within the bar. The vibrant hues and thoughtful color combinations have been strategically employed to attract people and generate a sense of intrigue and wonder.

Her aim for the 2023 Decorex Bar is to represent a harmonious blend of art, nature, community, and vibrant colors. It will be an inviting space that celebrates artistic expression, encourages meaningful connections, and fosters a deep appreciation for the beauty that surrounds us.

Sustainability is at the heart of Decorex each and every year and is reflected throughout the event. When we stepped into our bar we saw earthy tones, environmentally responsible fixtures and products from the community. Our aim was to provide an extraordinary experience for guests at the Champagne Bar, offering them an ambiance that was both unique and stimulating.
