Shayne Brady is the Co-founder and Director of Hospitality at BradyWilliams, a London-based design studio. Born and raised in County Kildare, Shayne developed a passion for art and design from an early age. After training in Dublin, he moved to London in 2007 to pursue a career in interior design.
Honing his skills at renowned studios, Shayne co-founded BradyWilliams with his business partner, Emily Williams, in 2013. While the studio is known for both its residential and hospitality work, Shayne has been responsible for designing some of London’s most esteemed restaurants within just 10 years. Notable projects include The Aubrey, The Portrait at the National Portrait Gallery, Fischer’s, Bob Bob Ricard City, The Maine, and the Anya Hindmarch Café. Upcoming work includes restaurant designs for Jeremy King, international members clubs, and collaborations with Fairmont and Waldorf Astoria.
Key to Shayne's vision is creating an emotional connection to the space with a layered approach to materiality. His work is often described as theatrical and dramatic, with an unerring ability to "place-make."
Having been awarded the Global Restaurant Design Award in 2022 for The Aubrey at the Mandarin Oriental, Shayne's upcoming projects reflect his evolving vision and design aesthetic, which are making waves internationally. He also returns as a guest judge for BBC's Interior Design Masters.
