Each year, we handpick a talented designer to create the central bar at our event, which takes on a new form with stunning furniture and a unique theme, and this year is no different.
The Decorex 2024 Bar, designed by Brady Williams in support of Furnishing Futures, promises to be a striking focal point of the event. With a thoughtfully crafted layout that divides the space and strategically positions the bar, it offers a dynamic experience for all visitors. This impactful design will not only leave a lasting impression but also make a meaningful difference at Decorex 2024.

Social Buzz: Be part of the social scene at Decorex—snap photos, share your experience, and join the conversation in the heart of the event.
Inspired by a recent trip to Hiroshima and Sadako Sasaki, we want to draw inspiration from a different bird—the hummingbird. The sighting of a hummingbird signals that challenging times are over. It is also seen as a symbol of hope and good luck.
Visitors now have the opportunity to purchase a hummingbird when securing their tickets. Each Hummingbird, crafted from bespoke paper in collaboration with a renowned fabric and wallpaper house, will join a striking flock suspended above the bar as the centerpiece of the space.
With every Hummingbird purchased, a donation will be made to our charity partner, Furnishing Futures, supporting their mission to create professionally designed, furnished homes for vulnerable women and children escaping abusive relationships.
Shayne Brady is the Co-founder and Director of Hospitality at BradyWilliams, a London-based design studio. Born and raised in County Kildare, Shayne developed a passion for art and design from an early age. After training in Dublin, he moved to London in 2007 to pursue a career in interior design.
Honing his skills at renowned studios, Shayne co-founded BradyWilliams with his business partner, Emily Williams, in 2013. While the studio is known for both its residential and hospitality work, Shayne has been responsible for designing some of London’s most esteemed restaurants within just 10 years. Notable projects include The Aubrey, The Portrait at the National Portrait Gallery, Fischer’s, Bob Bob Ricard City, The Maine, and the Anya Hindmarch Café. Upcoming work includes restaurant designs for Jeremy King, international members clubs, and collaborations with Fairmont and Waldorf Astoria.
Key to Shayne's vision is creating an emotional connection to the space with a layered approach to materiality. His work is often described as theatrical and dramatic, with an unerring ability to "place-make."
Having been awarded the Global Restaurant Design Award in 2022 for The Aubrey at the Mandarin Oriental, Shayne's upcoming projects reflect his evolving vision and design aesthetic, which are making waves internationally. He also returns as a guest judge for BBC's Interior Design Masters.
