The 2025 VIP Lounge was designed by Adẹ̀kọ́ & Co., an independent, multidisciplinary design studio founded and led by Creative Director Tolù Adẹ̀kọ́. The studio specialises in storytelling through space and materiality.

Stories are powerful, and strong brands are built around them by exploring palettes of materials, colours, and moods where everything - from form to finish - is chosen for a reason. Adẹ̀kọ́ & Co begins with simple conversations to understand clients' concepts across diverse industries such as hospitality, food and beverage, property, retail, and luxury goods, with sustainability and longevity standing at the heart of every aspect of their work.

CONCEPT

The studio's approach transcends conventional design practices, embracing a philosophy where each project becomes a narrative expressed through thoughtful spatial arrangements and carefully selected materials. Tolù's vision guides a creative process that transforms abstract concepts into tangible experiences that resonate with audiences, with this approach being applied to the design process of the VIP lounge.

FOUNDER & CREATIVE DIRECTOR: TOLÙ ADẸ̀KỌ́

Tolù is the founder of Adẹ̀kọ́ & Co., bringing a holistic design approach that blends timeless aesthetics with global contemporary influences. Nigerian-born and London-based since 1995, he was mentored by Sir Terence Conran and educated at Camberwell College of Arts before earning his Interior Design BA from Bournemouth University.

His impressive career includes senior roles at prestigious firms like David Collins Studio, with projects spanning residential, hospitality, and maritime sectors worldwide. His portfolio features work for Gordon Ramsey's Maze Grill Restaurant, luxury hotels (Ritz, Edition, W, Hilton, Marriott), and cruise lines. Tolù is a member of both the BIID and SBID
