The Decorex team was deeply saddened to hear that on 27 July 2012, Helen Green, Director, Helen Green Design passed away. She had been battling cancer and after many happy months spending time with her close family, friends and colleagues, she died peacefully in hospital surrounded by her loved ones.
She leaves behind a devoted husband and two loving children.
An incredible force in the interior design world; Helen built a brand that is synonymous with the creation of luxury interiors and high-end architectural design for private residential, developer, and hotel clients. Over the past ten years, with passion, integrity, and creativity she has grown her company and established a senior team of professionals who she entrusted to deliver impeccable work and uphold the brand’s values.
It is with confidence and heart, Helen imparted her professional responsibilities and duties to her loyal staff. Natalia Miyar, Head of Design, Luisa Lewis, Head of Finance, and board members Rupert Green and husband Harry Parshall will continue to oversee and take the business forward.

Helen Green was known for her style and love of design. A passionate mentor, she possessed a unique ability to inspire young designers who sought to follow in her footsteps. In her memory, Helen's family has created the Helen Green Design Foundation, helping students interested in design to pursue their passion. The Foundation will offer bursaries, internships, and training to talented students wishing to grow their interior design skills.
