Decorex Virtual will be a large-scale digital event that uses the flexibility and reach of the online space to empower you to discover and connect with suppliers from across the industry. Additionally, networking opportunities will be at the core of this virtual event through matchmaking features allowing you to interact with the exhibitors, as you would do in a physical event. There will also be inspirational and educational panel discussions as you would normally find within the live event.
Decorex recently surveyed its database and found that 81% of its audience are open to attending a virtual event. We are unable to run a physical event in 2020, but we understand that the community still wish to discover and showcase new products, meet with existing and new business partners, and build stronger industry contacts. Decorex Virtual will be a large-scale digital event with enhanced matchmaking between buyer and supplier, networking and high-quality educational content to facilitate business growth.
Fill your details into our registration form to get started. Once you have registered, you’ll receive a confirmation email and reminders leading up to the event. This will include a link granting you access to the event platform where you can view features and content, plan meetings and connect with suppliers. Log into your profile at any time to plan your schedule and pre-arrange meetings with potential business leads.
Our content team will work with scheduled speakers to confirm an online talks programme, including the timing of that programming. We will share any updates with you as soon as possible.
Decorex Virtual will provide some of the best known elements from our physical show, but in a virtual format - others will be entirely reimagined. As a way of showcasing our talented exhibitors, we have created an extensive Product Directory filled with a plethora of high-end suppliers showcasing furniture, fabrics, carpets and rugs, interior accessories, lighting and much more. Our attendees will be able to browse through the array of offerings from their favourite brands, whilst discovering work from up and coming names – searching via product type and sector. We hope that this serves as a seamless way to discover new designs and feel inspired.

Decorex is an interior design show that usually takes place in London, celebrating the people taking interior design to the next level. It features an extensive range of brands and designers, each presenting their newest collections of exquisite furniture, fabric, lighting, decorative craft, contemporary art, and more. In 2020, Decorex will transfer to a virtual format - for the foirst time in its 42 year history - but will return to its physical form in 2021.

Using the platform
Yes, some sessions will include live Q+A. Submit your questions to the presenter or request a meeting with the presenter to continue the conversation.
Meetings will take place directly within the Decorex Virtual portal – no need to download any additional software. You will receive a 20-minute email reminder before each meeting that you’ve secured. Follow the link directly to your video meeting or access the ‘My Schedule’ page in your profile. Simply press ‘Join Meeting’ to access your video meeting.
Meetings will take place virtually within the Matchmaking Service Portal and you can invite up to 8 people to attend each one, if they are registered for Decorex Virtual. Upon setting up your profile, you will be able to select specific criteria for those you are wishing to book meetings with. Our advanced, AI powered system will use this information to provide you with recommendations on those that fit your specifications; these will be updated each time you log in. You will be free to send meeting requests to those that pique your interest.
Aside from the Matchmaking service, there will also be two 1-hour Speed Networking video sessions taking place each day. These sessions will be made up of 12 rotating meetings, at a length of 5 minutes per meeting. This is an ideal opportunity for you to make introductions to a wide breadth of people from different backgrounds, to really bulk out your contacts list and make valuable leads.
Once the platform is live, you will be emailed log in details to your personal Matchmaking account. You will need to login to update your profile and book meetings with attendees and suppliers. Please note that profiles will be added to the service daily, we recommend logging in frequently to find desired clients by using the précised search feature.
The Matchmaking Service is run by Sector Global who is an approved partner of Informa Markets.
You can connect with suppliers by booking in 30-minute video meetings using the ‘Find Meetings’ feature; search for relevant business leads by company type, product interests and sector.
Throughout the three days of the event – 17-19 November – you will be able to see when any supplier is online and participate in ad-hoc videos via the online supplier stands. You can also reach out in the weeks leading up to the event to pre-arrange 30-minute video meetings by sending through a request; these will either be accepted, declined or passed to another member of their team.
