ORVI’s innovative and captivating wall and floor tile collection is set to impress interior designers and architects when it debuts at this year’s Decorex International.
This luxurious handcrafted range masterfully encapsulates truly magnificent and inspirational splendour, achieved using a fusion of materials and textures to create uniquely stunning surfaces.
Standing as an exemplary source of inspirational ideas, ORVI is the epitome of a design-led collection that is being endorsed by, and is available to the specification sector through leading natural stone producer, Burlington Stone, as well as major retailers around the country.
Showcasing at Decorex International will be four exceptional and entirely different surface styles from ORVI – Bas Relief, Armatura, Tessitura and Cattedrali. Drawing on Orvis’s philosophy of creating ‘Innovative Surfaces’, each collection displays a flair for embellishing the inherent appeal of natural stone by using a spectrum of materials such as glass and metals, including copper, brass and white metal.
Excited that ORVI is making its debut at Decorex International, Chairman, Sanjeev Agrawal, states:
“Our commitment to work with leading designers worldwide, combined with the use of traditional craftsmanship techniques, modern technology and the adoption of Western aesthetics, has been the driving force behind the creation and realisation of what is a diverse, innovative and captivating range of surface finishes.”
In relation to ORVI’s decision to work in partnership with Burlington Stone, Mark Hawkins, Brand Manager (Europe) added: “Burlington Stone are UK leaders in their own right and have a strong heritage, wealth of experience and knowledge in delivering high quality products, so we are understandably delighted that they are promoting and selling the ORVI range to the specification sector.”
In response, Burlington Stone’s Commercial Director, Nick Williams said: “ORVI is an exciting range to add to our existing collection. Whether you are looking for a style to inject imposing drama, or one of pure elegance and charm, you will discover something in the ORVI range that will sit perfectly well in both contemporary or traditional settings.”
BAS RELIEF – Incorporating 18 contemporary to traditional designs, each centres on a handcrafted, relief pattern that projects subtly from the surrounding surface. And as no part of the modelled form is undercut, this serves to cleverly trick the eye as to which element of the design pattern protrudes.
ARMATURA – A resplendent, bold and opulent collection of 12 designs, each of which feature hand applied metal inlaid into stone, including silver and gold leaf, brass, copper and white metal.
TESSITURA – With its Italian design origins, nine unique and subtle textured finishes are understatedly brought to life in plain stone, or when cloaked in white metal, copper or brass.
CATTEDRALI – A majestic glass tile collection reminiscent of stained glass work in buildings of a bygone era, Cattedrali comprises three sub-categories that display either uniformity or complete randomness. The surface finish of Brise, available in 13 vibrant colours, has been cleverly created from reconstituted miniature pieces of shattered glass to deliver a striking and rich look. Taking its name from a fabric dyeing process popular in Asia, Africa and Latin America, Ikat centres on elaborate pattern detailing that delivers a characteristic blurriness, prized by purveyors of the process. Continuing the theme ‘small is beautiful’ is ORVI’s range of Tessera, micro-mosaic glass tiles.
Whilst most styles and finishes come available in standard sizes including 300mm x 300mm x 10mm,
400mm x 400mm x 10mm and 600mm x 600mm x 10mm, ORVI can craft products to a customer’s bespoke design requirements.
