New oriental-inspired rug collection by Wendy Morrison

The latest oriental-inspired collection from rug designer Wendy Morrison will be launched at Decorex, Syon Park 2015.

Exploring oriental and Art Deco themes, the new collection reflects Wendy’s love of nature and art. A vibrant use of colour and stylised motifs creates statement rugs along classical lines with a contemporary edge.

Enchanted Forest - a rich deep turquoise provides a magical backdrop against which golden foliage and birds are silhouetted.

Continuing with the oriental theme, Magnolia captures the sculptural qualities of the beautiful flower in full bloom against a rich golden background.

Mount Orient is inspired by the richness of lacquerware and features cranes in flight over a carpet of stylised flowers and foliage.

Sunburst embodies the spirit and simplicity of the Art Deco era with a striking design of a golden sun with bright rays emanating to the edges of the rug – designed with the interior designer in mind it provides the perfect focal point for a room.

Retail prices for rugs from the collection are

£750 for a 1.7m x 2.4m and £990 for a 2m x 3m.
