James Hare launches new silk and linen collection

The latest collection of fabrics from silk specialist James Hare features a soothing palette of cream, taupe and blue, giving the luxurious fabrics broad appeal and building on classic influences to create timeless designs.
Perfect for curtains, blinds, cushions, lampshades and wall coverings, there are three designs in the collection. Trailing Tree Silk’s design is inspired by a 17th century silk print, and uses hand-applied French knots (a traditional raised embroidery technique) set on contrasting silk backgrounds. It comes in four colourways. Trailing Tree Linen takes the same raised French knot design but applies it to four contrasting linen colourways, giving the pattern a fresh, modern appeal.
The final design in the Westbury Collection, Silk Circles, features raised appliquéd silk circles on contrasting linen/silk backgrounds, and comes in six colourways. The fabrics start at £50 per m.
