'Amy Kent Bespoke Rugs' is a beautiful collection of hand made rugs, indigenously crafted in India and Kathmandu. Since being founded in 2005 Amy has developed a range of designs that are both classic and contemporary, suiting traditional and modern interiors alike.
All the rugs are made to order and can be completely customised - any size can be specified and we have an extensive range of colour tufts to choose from. Our aim is to help you create a unique piece that is truly bespoke to your home.
Amy will be debuting at Decorex this year her 'Art on Rugs' collection, a collaboration with her sister, artist Lucy Kent. Based on abstract artworks by lucy the rugs very much have a 'painterly' feel to them, reflecting the tonal layering of Lucy's technique. Continuing the art theme Amy is also launching a new design 'The Kiss' - inspired by Rothko this design is much more graphic in its simplicity.
Our aim is to create exquisite furniture that is harmonious and unique: a balance of precisionist lines and natural curves, quiet classicism and a touch of whimsy, designed to treasure, enjoy and amuse.
All of our furniture is made to order in the UK using traditional methods, the greatest care and the highest quality materials. Most of our designs can be customised in scale and finish. Our current lead-time is 8-14 weeks from order.
We have been designing and making furniture in the UK since 2006. Each design is individually produced by teams of exceptionally skilled artisans who wheedle and cajole lux natural materials into a myriad of splendid pieces which are then lovingly hand finished.
We have, over the years, added complementary ranges of fabrics and rugs which can be viewed along with examples of our furniture and finishes in our London showroom.
We are privileged to work with many of the world’s finest architects, interior designers and discerning individuals on projects of all scale.
