Sarah graduated from Sir John Cass in 2000 as a goldsmith and, silversmith, and from her former Clerkenwell studio quickly developed a reputation for creating innovative bespoke jewellery in precious metals and diamonds. She moved to Arundel in West Sussex in 2013, and a commission in 2014 for the new P&O cruise ship Britannia saw her work transformed on an altogether grander scale. Laser cut steel and aluminium decorative wall panels with industrial finishes now take on the unmistakable style of her finely hand-¬soldered gold and platinum pieces. Sarah's jewellery is inspired by geometry, repetition and proportion; creating complex structures from the simplest of forms. Her decorative panels express the same key themes on a more grandly expressive scale, while the interplay of colour, reflectivity and shadow add new layers of visual intrigue to the wall¬-mounted works.
