Craft is given a platform at Future Heritage
Future Heritage is the leading showcase for emerging and established talents in British craft. It has pioneered the promotion of contemporary craft to the wider interior design industry. Each designer creates new, distinctive, one-off pieces to be exhibited at the show. The makers practice across a diverse range of media and are selected for their ability to work collaboratively. Future Heritage showcases the designers' skillsets when working on commissioned pieces for both commercial and private clients.
“Future Heritage has opened a new door for my sculptural practise … I was overwhelmed by the reaction, I felt warmly received by interior designers and architects alike, who I wouldn't have met in the applied arts world. I've made many new contacts and am anticipating some exciting future projects. I have recently completed an installation in Gloucestershire for the fabric and wallpaper company Whiteworks, who I met at the show.”
