British designer Lorna Syson founded her London studio in 2009 and is now based in Rural Oxfordshire. This is Lorna’s first year at Decorex International. To celebrate reaching the businesses 10 year anniversary Lorna is launching her collaboration with RSPB (The Royal Society of the Protection of Birds). Her floral and bird designs on fabrics and wallpapers transport the viewer to witness the world through Lorna’s lens and invite them to find the beauty overlooked in their everyday.
Camera in hand, she captures fleeting moments; bees collecting nectar, birds foraging for seeds. These memories inspire illustrations and patterns drawn by hand and on the computer, created in Lorna’s signature style, often using a silhouette technique to produce dynamic, contemporary shapes that give wonderful depth.
Lorna won The Best Interior Furnishings designer in 2018, she was named the Best of House 2019 for design and was awarded Excellence in Countryside Inspired Interior design in 2019.

Don McCollin and Maureen Bryan set up McCollin Bryan in 1998. In the production of furniture and objects, their approach is strongly driven by the materials they work with and a mutual need to be active in the craft of making. Key to their working practice is the process of experimentation and the development of visual concepts. While McCollin explores surface textures and patterns, Bryan designs forms that have sculptural impact. They are both inspired to exploit the qualities of the materials they use in order to create pieces that will surprise and intrigue the viewer. Each piece is designed, made and assembled in UK.

Michele Oberdieck designs and produces unique blown glass vessels and glass panels fused with screen-printed textiles, all hand made in the UK.

Having trained as a textile designer at Glasgow School of Art, and after well over a decade of running her textile practice, Oberdieck recently began working with blown glass following an MA at the RCA.
The works are a pleasure of immersive colour that play on forms with a disruptive symmetry creating a tension.
The blown glass vessels enhance her silk glass panels adding a dimensional quality.

I'm Larissa Dickinson and I love colour, balance and design. I’ve created a collection of wallpapers and gifts with my patterns that are a cross between whimsical and classical. You’ll find both elegant, bold statement colours and delicate details throughout my designs, which have mainly been inspired by vintage prints found rummaging in antique shops around the world. I produce my wallpaper and gifts in the UK, and Sweden and make sure that all the raw materials to my products are sustainably sourced and made in Europe.
I have a home studio in Germany where I live and work with my 4 children, husband, and more animals than I can count. I’m what you would call a “pot pourri”, being Russian/German and having lived and studied in Paris, London, Moscow, Düsseldorf and Brussels. Possibly as a result, my inspiration tends to be from a mix of cultural identities, and the constantly bewildering beauty of the designs that I find in nature, which I'm regularly drawn back to.
Mimi Pickard's fabrics and wallpapers have been inspired by the art of the avant-garde Bloomsbury Group. The designs have a natural and almost naive feel as well as having a strong sense of colour and shape.
