Stephen Crawley

Stephen has spent over 20 years in the interior design industry, having worked for just two outstanding studios, before co-founding Bowler James Brindley in 2014 alongside Lucy Southall and Ian Bayliss.

Bowler James Brindley’s approach is one based on team ethic & true collaboration. Every BJB scheme is undertaken with a distinctive rigour and vision throughout.  Stephen’s principal skill set within this collective is designing the internal configuration and three-dimensional design of all BJBs projects.  A true Interior Architect, Stephen loves to create spaces that enhance the overall experience of a building, no matter what the use might be. 

Complimenting this, gained through years of design exposure and intensive collaboration, he has developed a finite eye for detail & materiality, with an acute sensibility of the full spectrum of Interior Design - successfully completing hospitality and residential projects in the UK, Europe, Australasia and the Middle East, for the world’s leading brands and developers.
