From 1997 they created iconic designs for their in-house collections, including Plectrum, Drift, Always, Blossom & Beanstalk which are still very popular today. These collections had been selling very successfully under licence worldwide until 2008, when their distribution deal came to an end. In 2009 they set up their Glasgow based design studio, Natasha Marshall Ltd.

And now work with mills around the world, creating collections for a number of clients based throughout the UK & Europe. These brands sell worldwide into a wide number of sectors including retail, hotel, cruise, leisure and healthcare. The team pride themselves in supplying fabrics that are both imaginatively designed and coloured as well as being technically suitable for each sector. Everything about Natasha & Neil is design led. They designed & built both the Natasha Marshall Studio and their own home in collaboration with architect friends, creating two award-winning buildings.

For work, they created a design consultancy studio which is the ideal work space & showcases all their collections. For their home, they took an old furniture-restorers workshop in central Glasgow and redesigned it to produce a contemporary home. After a long haul trying to find the right fabrics for the house, they decided it was time to start their own fabric company again. At one point, they considered buying a rival company then realized it was easier to start again themselves.

2015 has seen the launch of Natasha Marshall’s own studio collections. The Ikon collection includes many of the most popular designs, Drift, Plectrum, Always, Beanstalk, Billow and Blossom. Whilst the Alegre collection comprises new designs. Both ranges have been extremely well received, with wallpapers making a come back this month with the new Tandem collection and a co-ordinating plains range Alibi. 

The Natasha Marshall Collections are all stocked in the new Glasgow Studio and we aim to provide excellent customer service, with no minimum order quantities and prompt order fulfillment. Natasha is an enthusiastic ambassador of the Princes Trust which helps young people start up in business and get into employment. She sits on the Princes Trust Scottish Council and is also a Board member of The Scottish Textile & Leather Association.
