In 2017 Dee built luxury hotel Kalukanda House from scratch using an 'Emotional Design’ approach. Kalukanda House was built with a circular economy in mind and is a recent addition to the Hip Hotel collection, one of only 3 on the island. Dee was shortlisted in the ‘Most Inspiring Businesswoman’ category of the 2020 Best Business Woman Awards.
