This year’s edition of Decorex is set to be one of the most exciting yet, with unique features to immerse yourself in, new brands to discover and thought-provoking conversations to take insight from. Read our definitive guide to Decorex 2021 and discover how you can make the most out of your visit.

Decorex is hosting a grand reunion at Olympia London from 10-13 October 2021 – all rejoice! After over 18 months of restrictions and separation, the design industry could certainly do with an injection of inspiration and creativity.

I can’t wait for Decorex this year, after such a long time since a live event took place, it’s going to feel great reconnecting with the community and catching up with industry friends at Olympia London. I’m looking forward to seeing this year’s bar design as well as hearing the stories behind the craftsmanship of this year’s Future Heritage collections – it’s definitely going to be a year to remember,” says Sam Fisher, Decorex Event Director.

MORNING

Gaze at the entranceway

Back by popular demand, our entranceway design is set to turn some heads this year. Creating the installation is Moritz Waldemeyer – celebrated artist best known for his digital light displays and original creations – he’ll be injecting his trademark energy into the opening feature called ‘True Love’. The installation will involve large butterflies that will cascade from tall columns, creating a canopy of colour above. This feature will be a fantastic start to your four-day visit to Olympia London.

MIDDAY

Wind down at the bar

Catch up with peers and toast your industry in our whimsical bar, designed by Sara Cosgrove. Cosgrove’s design is inspired by the theatre of the circus, including contemporary touches interwoven into the layout. The concept features a central circus tent bar, with a striped blue, red and white carpet radiating from the centre of the space. Her imagining of the central bar will bring together exotic drapes, sumptuous velvet furnishings and hand-painted motifs. This is the perfect place to relax, take your lunch and make new acquaintances.
