Hannah Malein has worked as a consultant at Colour Hive (previously known as Global Color Research) since 2009, leading the creative consultancy team and as Head of Trends for MIX Magazine. With a background in textile design, and a passion for colour and trend forecasting, Hannah has developed a significant understanding of material and surface innovation across multiple industries, including interiors and products, paint and coatings, and consumer electronics. She hosts the bi-annual forecast meetings for Colour Hive, working with a network of international experts from various industries to develop accurate and reliable colour trend information both on a global and regional basis.
In the past 6 years she has applied this specialist knowledge to projects for companies such as Kimberly Clark, Homebase, DuPont, Schott, Formica, Comex, Panasonic and Addis, helping clients to understand colour and trends from research and developing, through to the marketing process. Her experience and dedication her clients has seen her take an active part in product launches for leading brands and hosting trend forums around the world. Hannah is a frequent international speaker at events such as 100% Design, Decorex, Tent London, Furnitex Australia, Interiors UK, Neocon Chicago, Interior Design Forum Moscow and Surface Design Show, and is also an active panel member for several leading organisations, including MoOD Brussels and Nova Club.
