Champagne Bar – Martin Hulbert

This year's Decorex International Champagne Bar was designed by Interior Designer Martin Hulbert.

Martin has 25 years’ wide-ranging experience. His degree in Spatial Design focused not only on interiors but also on theatre design. A variety of design projects followed, from hotels and restaurants to offices and ships. In 2000, he joined Fox Linton Associates as Design Director. During the 10 years he was there, he and his team developed many original and award-winning designs for hotels and private homes.

Martin now runs his own company. His work has appeared in magazines worldwide. In April 2011, he received from House & Garden magazine the Pineapple Achievement Award for outstanding contribution to hotel design. Martin has worked on large-scale hotel projects such as Coworth Park, The Grove, Athenaeum and the Spa, Crystal Suite and ballroom at the Dorchester.
