Through the Looking-Glass

ICEX, the Spanish institute for foreign trade has once again commissioned the Spanish duo Herme y Monica to create a new and exciting installation at Decorex 2010. 

Spain Through the Looking Glass Lewis Carroll’s novel Through the Looking-Glass has inspired Spanish duo Herme y Monica, where everything is not what it seems….rugs will change colour, while a secret room will reveal the unexpected playing with a myriad of optical illusions.

The lounge will be open to all and offers both visitors and clients a place to discuss business in a informal and relaxing environment.

Nina to visit Alice In Wonderland

Nina Campbell, world renowned designer will create a liberated expression of design that will fuel inspiration without limits.

The Sloane Square lobby entrance was successfully designed by Ed Godrich for 2009 and this year we have invited Nina Campbell. Nina's display will fuse together an eclectic mix of exquisite products for domestic, retail and commercial environments.

It explores the enchanted story of play and temptation in a grown up Alices’ world. Using product from over 50 exhibitors, including specially commissioned one-off pieces, this show entrance brings to life the character of Decorex.


Harlequin Tabletop Tea Party

Harlequin Tabletop exclusively presents a 'Alice in Wonderland' theatrical display.

You’re invited to go underground into the warren, play croquet like never before and be part of a very special tea party! A luxurious experience around every corner; theatre, play and the world’s finest crockery.

KEW GARDENS INSPIRED

Louise Body

A bespoke entrance to the ladies and gents! Brand new to Decorex, Louise Body is excited to bring a novel approach to your bathroom experience, exclusive to the 2010 show.

As well as her creative efforts for the ladies and gents, Louise will also be launching her first collection of fabrics at this year's show.

Louise's wallpapers have been included in the Victoria and Albert Museum's prestigious wallpaper archive and she has recently successfully collaborated with iconic British brands Paul Smith and Dr Martens.

The new collection includes a fabric to complement many of the wallpapers in the current range as well as new floral and foliage motifs developed from her 'Plant Life' wall panels which were nominated for the Elle Decoration British Design Awards 2009.
