Iron craftsmen since 1880 in Moulins (Auvergne region), Pouenat Ferronnier moved towards interior decoration in the 1960’s, making lighting, furniture and decorative layouts in metal under the impetus of the fifth generation, Henri Pouenat, a graduate from the prestigious École nationale des arts décoratifs and student of famous Gilbert Poillerat. Acquired in 1995 by Jacques Rayet, the company extended its activities at the beginning of the 2000’s, with the crafting of furniture created by world-renowned designers. Pouenat has twelve collections of furniture and lights.
In addition, Pouenat produces customized architectural and decorative metalwork for both the interior and the exterior of buildings.
